How it works

Max continuous current = C rating × capacity in amp-hours. A 2200 mAh 30C pack can supply 2.2 × 30 = 66 A.

Labels are optimistic, so aim for at least 1.5 times your motor's full-throttle current. The C rating your motor needs = full-throttle current ÷ capacity in Ah.

Energy in watt-hours = cells × 3.7 V × capacity in Ah. Airlines go by Wh: always check your airline's rules and carry LiPos in hand luggage, never in the hold.

Charge at 1C (capacity in amps) unless the label says the pack takes more.
